Our Story

Joe Watlack was from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and starting working in the coal mines at a young age. After a few years of that he decided to join the Army and was based in Fort Drum, NY. He was then deployed and fought in the Korean War, he was one of three lucky men who came home from his platoon. He then moved to Rochester, NY where he starting working for a company called Luschers Bowling and Billiard Supply. After a few years of working there Joe was offered to purchase the business and founded Joe Watlack’s Billiards Service in 1952. Servicing the upstate and western New York area he established himself a great reputation of integrity and dedication to his craft and his customers. Joe’s legacy and values continue on with his Son Ed Watlack and grandson Spenser.
